Cresent-Hill Events

The Crescent Hills Introductory blog post is up, and as the year progresses, the CHCC's monthly and annually recurring events are fast approaching.

Each month, on the 5th, the CHCC, (Crescent Hill Community Council), hosts a monthly community board meeting/ council meeting. The topics range each time, and according to their website, "The Crescent Hill Community Council Board Meetings are open to the public, and an email will go out a day or two before the event letting people know if there will be an in-person meeting and/or a zoom meeting with the appropriate link."- CHCC Community Council Board Meeting. The location and time are posted in advance, and there's a function to add the event to your calendar. If you're interested in these meetings, you should add this event to your calendar.

With Easter on the horizon, the CHCC prepares for it's famous Easter Egg Hunt and Parade. Both of these family-friendly events are sponsored by the CHCC and occur on Easter Sunday.

The Easter Egg hunt begins at 10:00 AM on the lawn of the historic Peterson-Dumesnil House. “The hunt itself starts at 10:00 but GET THERE EARLY! We'll have three simultaneous hunts by age group.”- CHCC website.  Last year's event was cancelled, so the anticipation this time around is unparalled.

After the Egg Hunt, there's going to be little time to prep for the parade that will begin at approximately 11:30 AM, and will travel from Birchwood Avenue in Crescent Hill to Pope Street in Clifton.

Set your calendar and set your alarms now if you want to make it to both events! This is a family friendly environment and worthwhile for everyone interested check it out next month!
