Dapper Derby Event Update #8

The Kentucky Derby is the main attraction for all of Kentucky, attracting many to Churchill Downs to view the spectacular race. It all culminates on Saturday, May 8. However, Derby festivities and parties will continue even after the race concludes.

Main Event is hosting weekly Pegasus Pin Parties every Tuesday till May 31! 

"The Main Event Pegasus Pin Party kicks off PIN Tuesdays, which will happen every Tuesday night through May 31! When you wear your Pegasus Pin to Main Event, you are eligible for special deals and promotions throughout the entire Derby season! 

Plus, everyone with a 2022 Pegasus Pin will receive 30 minutes of FREE gameplay (per person)."- Discover. By now, you should already have a 2022 Pegasus Pinn, but if you don't have one, you can purchase one at Main Event!

The Kentucky Derby!!! 

The Kentucky Derby is a long-standing tradition in Kentucky that started in 1875! Since then, the Derby has become a worldwide phenomenon attracting people from near and far to Louisville. 

Horse breeders, trainers, jockeys, and betters are just a few of the stakeholders in the race. Many people work tirelessly in the horse racing industry leading up to this moment. 22 thoroughbreds have qualified for the race this year:

Attending the Derby is something each person should do at least once! The atmosphere at the tack is electric. Everything and everyone are decadently adorned and dressed in their best attire. Even Hollywood and government elites come to witness the gripping spectacle.

The race leaves you on the edge of your seat as the horse’s thunder around the 2km track. When it's all said and done, the winner of the Kentucky Derby receives $1.86/ 3 million of the Kentucky Derby's purse, a trophy, and the garland of roses.

Derby viewing parties are popular on Derby day. It's a fun way to view the race with your best friends but distanced from the crowd. Mint juleps all around!
