Brooks is a census-designated place in Louisville, KY. At the 2010 census, the population was 2,401. “Brooks is a suburb of Louisville with a population of 2,481. Brooks is in Bullitt County. Living in Brooks offers residents a suburban rural mix feel, and most residents own their homes. Residents of Brooks tend to be conservative.”- Niche.

As a smaller community in southern Louisville, Brooks doesn’t have many large venues for social gatherings. However, the Brooks Community Park is a public, local environment for all the community.

Despite extensive web browsing and research, there is no organized community association to create events specific to the Brooks neighborhood. However, the power of social media makes familiarization to a new area easier. Facebook has created a page for individuals interested in the Brooks neighborhood. The link is below!
