Close to downtown and Germantown lies Smoketown. A small neighborhood that gets often overlooked compared to the Highlands and Butchertown. Smoketown is a historic neighborhood in Louisville which offers many organized programs fostering its tight-knit feel. Smoketown has a neighborhood association, the SNA-Smoketown Neighborhood Association. The SNA works to maintain the historical landmarks of the city.
